I am a photographer, photojournalist, filmmaker and visual communicator based out of Portland, Oregon. I'm currently studying photography and visual storytelling at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in New York.
The sublime and the mundane of our layered and conflicted world have helped shape my visual language. Raised among the grandeur of the Pacific Northwest, I’ve developed a strong connection to the natural world, one that continues to inform how I see and photograph the places and people I encounter. From the familiar landscapes of home to places further afield, I’m drawn to the beauty, intertemporality, contrast, and impermanence that make our world what it is.
